Having Koi Fish Can Bring Us Luck (?)

Hello everybody! Sorry about late posting. Today i'd like to tell you about one of my hobbies. It's having pets. Basically, my family loves animals. I have some birds at home. A mated pair of straw-headed bulbul (Cucakrawa in Indonesian) and Magpie Robin (Kacer in Indonesian), four canary birds, two orange-headed thrushes (punglor bata in Indonesian), and a baby Chesnut-capped Thrush (punglor kembang/anis kembang in Indonesian).

baby Chestnut-capped Thrush
Beside those birds, i have some koi fishes or Nishikigoi in Japanese. Nishikigoi or koi fish is a group of fish that are kept for decorative purpose and pet in pond. Its varieties are distinguished by coloring, patterning and scalation. The major colors are red, white and black.

Koi fishes are classified into eleven varieties but i only explain six of them:

1. Gosanke
Gosanke classsification is the most popular and most wanted among koi fans. Kohaku, Sanke and Showa are included in it.

2. Bekko
Koi bekko is a koi that doesn't have red stripe along its body, except Aka bekko. The basic colors are white and few black spots.

3. Utsurimono
Koi utsurimono is koi that has black color as basic with additional color.

4. Asagi.
Asagi koi has a unique color. It's pale blue color tends to grey as salted eggs with red stripe below.

5. Tancho
Tancho is koi with solitary red patch on its head. The fish maybe Tancho Showa, Tancho Kujaku, Tancho Goromo or even Tancho Goshiki. It's one of my favorite koi varieties.

6. Hikarimono
It's any koi with metallic color or shiny golden color. There are Nezu Ogon, Yamabuki Ogon, Platinum Ogon and Orenji Ogon.

Koi Fish pond at home

Short story: On April last year, i told my dad to construct a fish pond. Its size 2m x 1m x 50 cm. Two months later it finished. Afterward, we bought many koi fishes. Sadly, some of our koi fishes were dead because of a disease and the pond wasn't mature yet (according to references that i had read). So, we've lost about more than twenty five fishes. But then, we bought some koi fishes again haha. Now, we have nine big koi fishes at pond. Its size 30-40 cm up. We have shiro bekko, showa, yamabuki ogon, koromo and etc.

Here's the video:

I classify koi's classes into three: super class (champions), medium class and market class. Koi fishes in my pond include in market class. Nevertheless, I love seeing at them. I love koi because it has beautiful colors and patterns.

Having Koi fishes can bring you luck? Some say, yes. Believe it or not. Placing a water-filled pond and Koi fish body color patterns are believed to bring a good luck to the owner or even where the fish pond was constructed/ placed.
Well me, be positive thinking. Give suggestions to your mind that it can bring you "luck" whether you wanna make a business from it or just keep it.

I'm a newbie half-death koi lover. There are so many koi varieties I have to study. I'm also pioneering a Koi fish business with my dad. But i have to study more with all koi masters. Wish us luck!

Here are baby koi fishes. We've been learning to quarantine them for five days.

So basically, the first youtuber whom i know is Grace Helbig. Then she did a collab with Jack and Finn Harries. They impressed me because they have good-looking and attractive. Since that, i directly came into their channel and subscribed them. I love British people!

They are inspiring. Their videos aren't only about their daily life but also travelling and inspiring things. A year ago they made videos called "The Rickshaw Run". Pengalaman di UISI (Universitas Internasional Semen Indonesia)

Oke, mungkin semua orang belum tahu tentang UISI.

Well, tbh aku orang Gresik asli lho! Yaa mungkin sudah jalan-Nya disyukuri saja ya, to?

Ayo-ayo buruan daftar. Bisa cek webnya di sini: http://uisi.ac.id/. Sekian terima kasih.
